Christmas Dinner 2010

Sorry bout the quality of these pictures, i think I've messed up the editing, tried to make it un-yellowish as I could but some got worse and some turned out to be ok. Still gotta work on my editing skills though..slowly slowly.. Yesterday, I had a Christmas dinner with my family, aunties, uncles and cousins. We barely see each other though.. But Im glad that things like these, you know, celebrations and stuff, enables us family to see each other though and catch up on the good ol times and some new stuff too..

Before 1000d DSLR

This is one of my "archive" favorites. This picture was way before I had my DSLR(canon 1000d). Picture was taken with my Sony Ecricsson G705, 3.2 Megapixel. Not bad for a hand phone eh?

Im on my holidays right now and have not been taking pictures much like how I am suppose to cause its my holidays and during holidays we should be having fun and all. Have not been able to meet up with some of friends though. cause we are all busy with our own stuff. Christmas is around the corner and when you know it, its 2011.. Happy New Year and then its back to college.

Funny isn't it? During the holidays you just can't think of a single thing to do, but when the holiday ends all these stuff that we should be doing during the holidays just pops out of no where. oh well~ Before the holiday ends, I'm sure something will come up, we'll all be able to have fun and stuff.

Good ol times/ days

Its been awhile since I've post anything up, yeah I do not have any new pictures at the moment, but who says we can't post old ones eh?? These pictures that you see here are those good old times, before our University Photograhy club was established. We made meetings, me made connections and of course we made lotsa friends in the process too. Looking back at these pictures really makes you miss the good old days( even though its not that old) when everything was not that stressful as they are now.. But still, stressful or not, we should never forget about the good old days.

Young & Modern

On the 14th Of Nov. 2010, my college had like this annual dinner for its students and lecturers, where we are supposedly to like celebrate our achievements and stuff..to cut long story short, to have fun..so anyways, the theme was modern and contemporary,plus masquerade, we gotta use mask. but most of us, did not..oh well~the dinner went well, we all had our fun.. just for the record, the dinner last year was much better..

Community Service Work

Allright, so, on last Saturday the 16th of Oct 2010, we had a community service trip to Babagon. We clean up the place, change the mat, wipe here wipe there, redecorate the whole place, paint few rocks, cut the grass and etc etc. Basically community service work.. As you can see too, besides doing work, we gave the kids some entertainment as well, they get to play a buinch of games and etc. We gave them a magic show too, which they really enjoyed it. After the trip, just a handfull of us, Me,Angel,Kok, Jane, Rosselleynna, Amanda,Tiffany and Brenda we went to celebrate our success of the job. We went to Tg. Aru beach and had some food and drinks. As you can see the last picture symbolizes our success and happiness that the work is over.

community service photoshoot

Last wednesday, to be exact, on the 13th Oct 2010, Me, Kok, Angel, Rose and Jane we went to Babagon to drop of the stuff at the place where we'll be doing our community service, which is at a kindergarden. The stuff I meant, was mostly the prizes. So after we drop off the things, we decided to go down nearby the river, where there was a lot of rocks, and we decided to have a photoshoot. Just a simple one though.

Wine Valley

 

Here is another picture of the Australia vacation. This one was when I was in Adelaide, this was on the way to Baroussa Valley. The place where wines are made. You go to different wince sellers there, they let you test the wine for free before buying, well some don't, especially those that has been there for quite some time, only those that just open, then the testing will be free. That was what i was told.

Against the Fence

This picture is considered one of my old picture which is from a previous shoot, I took this too in black and white but it did not turn out too well though. what I did not realize and what I like about this picture is, my friend's eye were kinda deep in this picture. perhaps it was the sunlight shadows and stuff.

Its been awhile since my friends and I has been on a photoshoot, we've just been busy with college stuff lately I guess, we've just been taking random pics though. Really in need of photoshoot, gotta have to try the conceptual kind of shoot. And have another bunch of ideas too.

J3r3Miah In ~early mornin~

 

This is Jeremiah, a close friend of mine...this photo was taken when we had our trip in kuala penyu. This pic was when we all just woke up, yeah we slept at 1am, fell asleep at 2am and woke up at 7am.. so yeah, you can imagine how groggy we were..provided that the night before we had a non-stop laughing night.

Batangan BAru Trip

Last Saturday, 25th Sept the college(Unirazak) photography club had a recreation trip to this place called Bantagan Baru which was located in Gayang, Mengkabong. Tourist goes to this place, i mean its a tourism spot, mostly taiwanese,china,Japanese,Korean tourists comes here. Anyways, back to the matter, purpose of this trip?well i guess the pictures tells the purpose of the trips.

Only one activity we were unable to photo, which is the ATV, apparently, we all got our hands tied and had to handle a number of things at one time. From what we see, the trip went quite well, everybody seems happy about it. Did not get to do any photoshoot though. Only pity thing is, cheryl,joanna,jeremiah,elsie,mahira,terence were unable to attend this event due, to that they had their own matter to attend to. Oh well, there's always next time..

Trees is the new sky

This picture was taken when we had the trip to Kuala Penyu, this was taken during our way back to the main city though, we stopped by at this one place that is near the coast. We went under the trees and experiment with the trees as our background. I realize that I rarely had any shots from below, so i tried a couple of shots. Honestly, I just was not feeling it that day, could not get proper/good shots, but gladly, it turn out ok.

Lighting up the sky

This picture was taken, when I was in Adelaide. I was just walking along the bridge towards Victoria street, I think that was what its called where all the shops are. The main shopping district to be precise. F.y.i, everything is actually walking distance there, unless you wanna head towards the wine farm. Barroussa Valley.
